Most Important:Customers must inspect all shipments before signing clear on delivery receipt. Once you have signed that you received your freight undamaged we can no longer file a claim on your behalf.
The customer is responsible for unloading all merchandise at its point of destination.
Any "Free Shipping" offers presented on Plasticwatertanks.com exclude Alaska, Hawaii & any countries outside the U.S.
The Customer agrees to these TERMS AND CONDITIONS which no agent or employee of the parties may alter. These TERMS AND CONDITIONS shall apply to all shipments, unless and until these TERMS AND CONDITIONS are altered or amended by PlasticWaterTanks.com. Customer is responsible for reading these TERMS AND CONDITIONS as provided on our website.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are F.O.B. shipping Point. PlasticWaterTanks.com will determine the point of origin of shipment, the method of transportation, and the routing of shipment. All freight charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers requesting shipment by a method other than that of PlasticWaterTanks.com’s selection will be billed for any additional charges incurred. PlasticWaterTanks.com, when possible, will attempt to make shipments by the routing requested by the purchaser, but makes no guarantee. All added accessories fees will be charged to the customer. (i.e. residential, lift-gate, re-consignment.) If you need any added accessories please call us and we will do our best to add these at our prices so you are not charged at the carriers public rates.
The act of signing for delivery is the acceptance that your tank has arrived undamaged. The person who signs the Proof of Delivery (POD) when tanks are delivered MUST note any visible damage on the POD. Often, the damage is done to a piece that can easily be replaced. If you have ANY questions regarding the condition of the tank please call PlasticWaterTanks.com while the driver is there and before you sign the delivery receipt. We will gladly help you with a resolution. You DO NOT have to accept the tank if you have any questions regarding the condition of the tank. If needed please refuse the tank delivery or note damage on the delivery receipt. Note: Scuffs and scrapes can happen in transit and do not void your warranty.
Tanks may become soiled in transit. Dirty tanks DO NOT constitute damage and damage claims will be refused.
Our tanks leave our vendors in good condition. Once they are turned over to the carrier, damage can occur. If there is no notation of damage on the signed POD, the purchaser has accepted that the tank has arrived, has been inspected and is in good condition. It is important that the purchasers thoroughly look over the tanks for damage and if there is damage they are required to note it on the POD or refuse the tank.
If there are any damages PlasticWaterTanks.com should be notified immediately help ensure timely resolution.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify PlasticWaterTanks.com of all damages within 5 business days from delivery (although if not noted on the Proof of Delivery the ability of being able to file a claim on your behalf is unlikely).
We value our customers and will do everything to get the customer a new tank at no extra charge, as long as the damage is noted at the time of delivery. We will NOT accept responsibility for damage done to the tank if the receiver of the tank does not note damage. At this point you will accept ALL responsibility for the tank and can file a claim directly with the carrier for the damage. We will be happy to assist you with this process.
All displayed transit times are estimates only and do not include day of pickup. Pickup dates are not guaranteed. Pickup day is not included in the calculation of LTL transit time. The customer is liable for all charges related to the shipment. You will be provided with a tracking number and we will assist you in making every effort in our control to ensure that the order is delivered in a timely manner. Shipping dates are approximate and are based on prompt receipt of all necessary information and approvals from the purchaser. PlasticWaterTanks.com shall not be liable for failure to perform or for delay in performance due to fire, flood, strike, or other labor difficulty, acts of God, act of any governmental authority or of the purchaser, riot, embargo, car shortage, wrecks or delay in transportation, inability to obtain necessary labor, materials or manufacturing facilities from usual sources or due to any other cause beyond its reasonable control. In the event of delay in performance due to any such cause, the date of delivery or time of completion will be postponed by such length of time as may be reasonably necessary to compensate for the delay.
Guaranteed Transit (Extra charge at time of order)
Guaranteed Service transit times do not include holiday and/or no service days as defined by the individual carrier. Shipments not delivered within date/time specified on the bill of lading may not be considered a service failure when the reason for the delivery delay is deemed as no fault of the carrier. These reasons could include, but are not limited to, the following conditions: acts of God; the existence of violence, riots, military action or such possible disturbance as creating reasonable apprehension of danger; acts or omissions by: shipper, consignee, owner of goods or public authority; delays due to customs clearance or documentation required for movement of shipment; closure of Federal, State, City or local roads, streets, or highways resulting in travel delays by carrier; shipments not accepted by the consignee when offered for delivery. This service is not a guarantee for pickup. Customers will be reimbursed for shipping if guaranteed delivery is requested in writing by the customer and the guaranteed date is not met.
PLASTICWATERTANKS.COM CANNOT ENSURE THAT ANY SHIPMENT CAN BE MADE BY ANY SPECIFIC TIME OR DATE. IN ANY EVENT, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR COSTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS OR INCOME.
Choose "Pickup" as your shipping option when you place an order with a sales representative. You'll receive an email confirmation and then a follow-up email once your purchase is ready for pickup at the selected location.
Pickup is not available for all products / categories.
Please pick up your item(s) within 5 business days of notification that your order is ready for pick up. Orders that are not picked up within 5 business days of notification may be allocated to a different order or your items returned to inventory. We will keep your order active in the system, however, you may be subject to a longer lead time while waiting on items to be manufactured again.
